Pride Inside
Say your successes out loud.
Welcome, students!
I’m looking for a few volunteers to share out loud how they feel today and why, using volume. For example, “I feel loud today because I’m mad at my brother.” Or “I feel quiet today because I had a great hour of reading this morning.”
Most people don’t share their successes enough. There is so much that we do every day that should make us proud.
Whether we scored a goal, got a good grade on a test, learned how to make a clay pot, or were nice to our siblings.
In this exercise, let's go around in a circle. You’re each going to say something that you’re proud of yourself for doing this week.
Each time someone shares, let’s celebrate them by cheering for their achievement, no matter how big or small!
Nice work! Now it's time to reflect.
This is a reminder to acknowledge your successes.
If you do something that makes you proud, bask in the feeling of it and remind yourself of what you’re capable of.
